Once upon a time, there was bluegrass. Then, there was newgrass. Now, there's Slightly Newergrass!
Just for the hell of it, I put together an 8-bit rendition of Bill Monroe's Wheel Hoss. For those that aren't familiar with it, "8-bit" refers to the easily-recognizable sound of video game music from the early days when memory space was very limited, so only a few simple sounds could be used. The result is kind of odd yet fun to play around with. One game that's instantly recognizable for its 8-bit soundtrack is the original Super Mario Bros. from the '80s.
