Default John Pearse tenor guitar strings - set#450

While at the IBMA exhibition hall back in October, I stopped by the John Pearse booth and among other things, purchased a set of their tenor guitar strings. Looking at them today I discovered that the gauges are 1st .013, 2nd .020, 3rd .030 and 4th .042. Clearly meant for octave mandolin tuning. I tune my tenor guitars CGDA but these will be useful on a custom tenor banjo that I tune to octave tuning. It is nice to know that a packaged set like this is available. Oh, they are 80/20 bronze wound.

I do use these on my Apollonio Octave. They are as close to what Nikos recommended without
having to order all single strings. If I remember right he liked an 18 on the 2nd string.
These seem to work very nicely.

I use these strings on an old 1950s Harmony H929TG because it gives the Guitar a much deeper & mellower sound that's great for playing Jazz.
