"Slow West" film by John Maclean with Michael Fassbender
So, my cousin's lad John has made his debut feature film, a nineteenth century western with a West Highland twist, entitled "Slow West", starring Hollywood heart-throb Michael Fassbender, and its made it to the Sundance Film Festival in January 2015.
Well folks, it may well have a wee bit of mandolin content - watch out for the "Peaty Bottom Boys", Ali "Beag" MacLeod on box, artist and professor Will Maclean on trump, and myself on a non period mandolin way in the back of a shot, maybe!
Here we are allegedly "rehearsing" - no drink was taken, oh no!
Doesn't look likely that we'll get to the premier - anyone going to Sundance? Unless Michael Fassbender flies us over first class from Achiltibuie!
Anyway, go see the film when it is released, it should be a cracker!
