I have looked every where for tabs for songs like Little Mountain Church House, Rank Stranger, and others like that. I have looked at Mandozine with no luck.
Any other ideas or does anyone have them?

I just typed "Rank" into the search page and there are two versions of Rank Stranger listed on Mandozine.
A bit of time invested in learning by ear could be a great benefit.
It really isn't hard to do.

Western Swing music
I often play out of old hymnals and community songbooks. Sometimes you can even play the soprano and alto part at the same time for a duet effect. Mostly you can read the treble clef as is. Occasionally the keys are on the flat side, but mostly it's easy enough.
Those books are often easy to find in used bookstores or thrift shops.
I have been invited to play with our church band, so in searching for gospel music, i ran across both this post as well as the following link. It seems to have quite a few pieces. http://www.music-folk-play-hymns.com...Tab-Hymns.html
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."~Joshua 1:9
I've been doing more of this
in combination with this. The music leader in my church finally got me to get into playing with them, she asked me initially if I wanted the chords to the songs or the sheet music. I asked for both. That way I have been creating my own combo of playing chords with melodies.
Granted, my writing experience is more with guitar, and I am just learning mandolin. Having knowledge of sheet music is definitely a benefit in this side of things.
