    Default O Come O Come Emmanuel

    Finished recording and making a video of this classic Advent hymn. Instrumentation is as follows:

    Weber Yellowstone Octave Mandolin playing the tune
    Brook- custom Tavy in CGCGCD (yew back and sides) doing the accompaniment

    Mics: Rode NT55s, DPA 4099, Neuman TL103, AKG 414
    Preamps_ UA Twin Infinity

    The video (very amateurish I know) was shot in Castle Coombe, a delightful little village in Wiltshire near where I live, that has been used in many films and TV dramas, including the film War Horse. The pub there does the most amazing Cream Teas

    I realise that I have posted this in the wrong section- I meant to post it in the celtic section. Can I change it? Not sure this is strictly classical!
