Does anyone know if Don Julian's online lessons are happening anymore? I have tried the link on his web site and can not seem to get anything?
Thanks!

Don is playing a lot of gigs. Try him on Facebook.
Yeah, he has been very busy on the road. Facebook is prolly your best bet. Just my two cents on Don, his lessons are AWESOME and well worth the wait. He is a great instructor as well as an amazing player. Be patient and be specific on what you need to learn when you have that conversation with him.

Hi Brandon sorry for falling off the face of the earth. The last two years has been a fantastic mandolin whirlwind ride including writing two "Dummies Books" and touring with the duo "Billy Strings & Don Julin" at the rate of 200 shows per year. My teaching is currently limited to workshops, camps and clinics around the country when they line up with our touring schedule. I will post my 2015 mandolin teaching event soon as some are coming up this winter.
Hi Don! Thanks so much for the reply! No worries, I am really getting a lot out of your great U-Tube lessons and have both your books! Following you on FB as well.
I am working on Pig Ankles Rag from Stephen Parker's book and you have a great video on that. Hope you can make it to the Denver area sometime and I really appreciate all you do! Great talent man!
Cheers!
Brandon

Mandolin Exercises for Dummies will make you a Smartee!

For about two weeks, this past month, I focused on doing exercises out of the dummies book. I didn't play very many fiddle tunes during that time at all. Just this past weekend I spent a couple hours just playing tunes and, IMO, I really saw a lot of improvement.
