Default Italian Mazurka: Una Lagrima (Ballarini-Zucchi)

This Italian marzurka (or polka-mazurka) was written by Matilde Ballarini-Zucchi around 1865, the publication date of the piano score published by Ricordi & C. in Milan. My recording is based on a 1927 arrangement for two mandolins and guitar by D.A. Figliuzzi for A. Paollili's Music Co., Providence RI, as uploaded by Sheri in her Dropbox thread.

    1890s Umberto Ceccherini mandolin
    1915 Luigi Embergher mandolin
    Ozark tenor guitar
    Suzuki MC-815 mandocello

It's a delicate tune, which I've played slow and melancholy, as suits the title.

    Happy New Year to all!

Very nicely done, as usual And a very happy new year to you also!
If I miss one day’s practice, I notice it. If I miss two days’ practice, the critics notice it. If I miss three days’ practice, the public notices it.
