Default Sent Messages Not Showing Up in Private Message Sent Box

I'm new to the forum. A couple of folks have sent me a private message to which I responded. Unfortunately I didn't get any indication that the message was sent and my sent folder is empty. I missing something in using the private message box?

    Regards,
    Roger

'Settings' top tool bar on right in forum
    then
'My Settings' left side - 'My Account' - 'General Settings'

scroll down to : 'Private Messaging' - 'Sent Private Messaging' - set to save

probably easier way to get there

    What Mark said.

Private messages sent are not saved by default. You can manually save each one by scrolling down under the area where the message is posted and checking the box indicating you wish to save a copy. Or, you can set your account to save every sent message here:

    http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/pr...do=editoptions

Scroll to Private Messaging > Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default

Thanks folks for the information. I found that setting section and fixed it. I'll verify the next time I send a private message.

    Regards,
    Roger
