    Default my first video

    wow, its done!

So much people here make fine videos with perfect sound. And me? don't know how.

Yesterday I started after downloading Audition 3.0 to multitrack the Minuet from
the Notenbüchlein from Anna Magdalena Bach.

Now I am finished and happy with the result (not perfect, but I'm completely new to mandolins) ...

Mandolin and mandola are shown in the video. The mandola is tuned in GDAE.

    critcs are welcome.

Wow listening to this pulled me back into my Suzuki violin days. Major blast from the past. It's crazy how embedded these tunes are in my mind after so much drilling even from 12 years ago.

This embedding is not going to fade, not after 12 years nor after 123, believe it. I get the smell of Flötotto school furniture from just listening, after 40+ years.
Very clear and stencilled playing, just what the Bach family members had in mind and just what those flatwound strings (I assume?) were made for.

Not flatwound, Betram, Savarez Argentine 1540 (mandolin) and 1560 (mandola). Both set are very smooth to play.
