Here is my first all blonde A4. I think it turned out pretty nice.

"Blonde is the new Black". Sounds like a TV series.

That's a good looking mandolin Mike...nice clean work on the back of that neck!

Looks like nice hard maple, tasty all around. Virzified or not?
Lovely work as usual, Mike. I like the tuners, too. Who made them?
From Mike - " I think it turned out pretty nice.". Very nicely understated -i think it looks spectacular !!. I love 'blonde' mandolins, simply because they show the woods used in such a beautiful way,& that one is a stunner,

Mike, that is one fine looking mandolin! Love the blonde finish!!
Very nice! I feel a case of MAS coming on...
That's beautiful, Mike! Every time you show us a new mandolin, I wonder what serial number will be mine.
Think globally, bike locally.
Great Tone!!! That's a great sounding mandolin Mike. And good playing too.
Got to play it yesterday before it gets shipped and that mandolin sounds GREAT. Not what I'd expect out of a new instrument. No break in required. Even my wife commented on the sound and she should be deaf by now as much as I play around the house. Very well done, Mike.
That looks and sound great Mike!
I'd say.I think it turned out pretty nice.

Only ever played one of these (belonging to another forum member) but it was one of the best modern A-4's I've ever heard. Also got to hear it in performance (thanks, Nick!) - excellent. Oddly enough, the other "best" modern A-4 I've encountered is also from Kansas. A Mark Franzke.... must be something in the air out there.
