    Default SXSW - Some some good mandolin music

    Down here in Austin - Saw some really great mandolin music, and folk.

    One of my favorite groups - Mandolin Orange

    And one of my NEW favorite groups, The Stray Birds.
    This is Oliver Craven, an excellent multi-instrumentalist, playing a really cool Kimble. It's an F body with an A headstock. I liked it a lot.

    TEvans you have to check out the mando player of Della Mae she has great tone and really good solos.

    Yeah, Austin is a great mandolin town. We include Sarah Jarosz as on of our own among many others.
