Looks like a Korean-made Ovation-style mandocello. Unless Ovation has a subsidiary making these for them in Korea.

At that price that would be worth getting just out of curiosity. Jim may well be right that it was built as mandocello, but if so whoever did the setup wasn't told. The eight strings are evenly-spaced, not in pairs. Also, the top four strings look to be plain, not wound. Mandocellos have wound strings on all four courses (great to avoid fretwear).

These were always showing up on ebay a while back. I have no personal experience with them, but the consensus here in the past is that they're not worth even the low price they sell for. A couple of threads are here:
