    Default Bach Prelude reworked

    Hi All,

I'm still new to the cafe, and the mandolin for that matter. Coming from the classical work of piano and organ, I usually use the mandolin to try out my chops in old time, bluegrass, and jazz. A few of J.S. Bach's organ works have solo lines that got me thinking, wonder what this would sound like on mandolin--I know there is plenty of classical literature out there for the instrument, even Bach violin pieces, but I just figured this might lend itself as another fun exercise to add to the repertoire.

I'm posting my first arrangement here. I've slowly gone over some parts (double-stops and chords in particular), and I believe it all to be playable. I'd probably rate it at an intermediate level, which I've not yet achieved. I'd love to hear feedback, and even better a recording if anyone gets comfortable enough for that!

    Thanks, and enjoy!
