Default String Symphony No 10 in B minor - Mendelssohn (1809-1847)

String Symphony (Sinfonia) No 10 by Mendelssohn (1809-1847)

Written in 1823 when he was a young teenager

Arranged/transcribed for Mandolin Orchestra of 2 mandolins, 2 mandolas (8ve), guitar and Bass

To be a little irreverent - at times it reminds me of a Gilbert and Sullivan chorus, or Danse Macabre, or silent movie music !

The notes are straightforward so I've taken it at a reasonably quick tempo.

Below is a link to a zip file of the score and parts.

The Bass part (mostly) doubles the guitar an octave lower. I have also included a Mandolin III part which could be used instead of 1st Mandola if too few mandolas are available.

I have not included any tremolo markings in the score and parts.

I hope you enjoy it and find it useful
