    Default New exp strings pricing

I just bought a set of d'Addario EXP-74CM strings (blue sleeve). They came for almost DOUBLE the price of the (until now) regular EXPs in the red sleeve.

My dealer told me that the new "NY"-version of those strings retails for the new price and all new EXPs from now on, even the regular non-CM versions will be sold in the much more expensive "NY"-version only.
For that money you can get THREE sets of regular EJ-74!

If so, will the EXP price justify that purchase over the regular 74s?
    What's your take on that?

I'm seeing prices from $11.79-11.99 online. Were you getting the older ones for under $6??
    Is this a European difference?

Here in Europe EJ-74 sell for around 7,60€(~8.60$) old EXPs around 12,60€ (~14.30$) and the new ones around 24€ (~27.20$), that's more than three times the price of the EJs....

€ vs. $ apparently... plus increased import costs... the regular EXP's are already appearing at street prices of €18 a set....if you use them, and find old stocks cheaper, I'd grab them while you can.....new imports are likely to be at the higher prices.
