Welcome! Never really thought of myself as a member of the group described above, but the video was real nice.
Glad you liked it !
Transcendent. Better than mandolin music, it was music itself.
Great video/s and welcome!

Welcome Midnight. I am new here as well. There are outstanding mandolinist here that are very willing to share their expertise and experience, for which I am very grateful.
Welcome Midnight.
And thanks for posting a great video.
I met Marijke and Michiel at the River of the West Camp a few years ago.
We should feel good about leaving the love of music in the hands of these two musicians.
You'll never find them without a smile on their face. And, if you spend five minutes with
them you'll find one on yours also. I only spent a few days around them yet I have many
memories I will never forget.
For instance, Marijke was so happy to see our faces while we were in class. She says in
Europe everyone is deep into reading the music and all she's ever seen are the tops of their
heads. Then watching Rich del Grosso [laughing the whole time] trying to show Michiel the
ins and outs of a Bluegrass Jam. [Priceless]
They are in their wheelhouse playing Classical but enjoy all kinds of music. During their
Camp Concert Brian Oberlin jumped in with them and they did a three part harmony [with
very strong Dutch accent] the American classic 'Ghost riders in the sky'. What a side splitter.
I just received a e-mail from Brian tonight and the three of them will be in Concert in Hood
River Oregon July 5th. If your anywhere near Portland you should not miss this one.

She holds the pick (which I don't think is a BlueChip) all wrong, and her Gibson is a paddlehead, not the more-desirable snakehead.
But yeah, they play ok, I guess.
