Default Martin Style S20 2-Point at GC

Every few days I cruise the used gear at Guitar Center just to see if any decent mandolins pop up. This one caught my attention and I have to admit this is one cool looking 2-point mandolin.

Longworth says the decal showed up around 1935, and they stopped making Style 20's in 1942. So 75-80 years old. Martin apparently made only 232 of these between 1929 and '42. Carved spruce top, carved curly maple back/sides, ebony fingerboard.

Rare bird indeed; Martin's carved-tops never really caught on, but no doubt it's cool.
