    Default Hughes A-5 Style #2 audio sample

    Here's a little sample of my second A-5 style build. Finished 2 others since this one was completed and they all sound very similar. Based on the Griffith Loar A-5.

    Yes,he did it very slow..glad he showed me the ending, I would have never figured it out,what a pal.Miss him dearly.

    Vernon, thats a great looking mandolin! The mandolin sounds great and you get a nice fat tone out of it!

    Here's the camo (or organic rendering as someone called it) A-5 style mandolin I built. Sorry about the rotten pics, I took these when I was about to finish it up and haven't gotten around to taking worthy publicity shots...soon..
