I had no idea that LoPrinzi was bought out by AMF. Talk about diversification; bowling equipment, nuclear missile delivery systems, Harley Davidson motorcycles and LoPrinzi guitars among so many other products. Back in the 50's - 80's, corporate growth was achieved by diversifying into other industries whether or not you had the managerial expertise to successfully run the business. AMF did not have that expertise apparently.

I'm happy that Augie was able to buy his name back and maintain control of his BRW stash and continue building world class guitars. Quite an interesting story. Thanks for sharing Bernie!!
