    Default Adress spaces blocked?

I can't access the Cafe directly via my router since this morning. I can access it via other paths (employer's proxy, free proxy in the web, via mobile internet connection). The router hasn't changed since yesterday, the problem seem to home in on it.
Ping on the server adress responds, just port 80 refuses connection.

    All other websites are accessible.

That leads me to this question: does the Cafe server block certain adress spaces I might have fallen into? <Removed by Moderator. You don't want that to be in the ether even if it is a DHCP address.>

We blocked some nasty European traffic yesterday that was attempting to take us down. Until we feel the time is right we're sticking right where we are. I'll let Dan answer the question more fully if he so chooses.

Thanks, I hope it will clear up soon. What a sad world - you make something beautiful and somebody comes along and breaks it.

I too can only access the cafe through a proxy (webproxydotto), it's been like that for a couple of days. I hope accessing you through a proxy is ok (I have two virtual left hands an no idea about this stuff...)

Yeah, I was responding to a couple of specific and a few less-specific types of attack/nusiance/exploit traffic.

I may have cast too wide of a net- please PM me the IP you are having trouble from and I'll see if I have a mis-classified one.

I'm inclined to keep the general framework active as it's been a significant improvement, but don't want any dolphins caught in the Cafe tuna nets

Polecat, you should be ok now.. there was a German block of IPs mistakenly included!
