Yep. I bought it as soon as I could after it was featured at the Microsoft Build Conference.

I am currently using it to help me learn to read standard notation, and to mess around. I transcribed a song my daughter and I would sing at bedtime, and developed a simple melody for mandolin with it. Was a cool, fun experience!

Microsoft has a lot of new hardware out now, anyone interested in a portable, full power computer should check out the Surface line. I have all my sheet music on mine in a custom built application I wrote.

Very cool! I don't have a touch screen or active pen, so this won't work for me. Wish I did, though. This makes notation very easy. Something to think about when considering my next computer purchase.

That IS great. Now that Apple has the Apple Pencil, maybe an iOS version will be released in the future.
