@keitha, I think most of Brad's books are available in e-book form as instant downloads. I have purchased them that way.

But not for some reason in Europe - your IP address is checked, and if in Europe it won't take your money.

If you use a VPN app you can fool the system into thinking you are in USA and then purchase and download.

keitha: Thanks for the compliment. While it is true that I don't sell any of my stuff directly to EU countries due to the VAT complexities, these guys do: http://www.freeguitarvideos.com/mand...cts/books.html

There are a couple of videos out there teaching versions of Bile Them Cabbage Down, a great tune to practice double stops. I just played this tune over and over slow until I got it, if I start having trouble with doublestops now it's usually when I haven't played them for awhile and my pick grip.

No discussion of double stops would be complete without a reference to my Kaufman Kamp buddy Pickloser's definitive guide at: http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/en...to-Doublestops

    It helped me a lot!

+1 that anyone starting to use double stops needs to study this. I have been playing50+ years and using double stops and didn't know it. The patterns I've learned by trail and error thru the years Pickloser names and organizes them to where what I have been using makes more sense to me. Wish I'd seen this 50 years ago.

Even if you know a bunch of double stops this really puts it all together and organizes it really well. Where ever you are, its worth getting into this guide.

Just a note to all that I have now solved that issue of sales to EU. I found a download service provider who handles all that VAT compliance (expletive deleted) for their sellers. Without my long diatribe, which includes references to the American Revolutionary War, taxation without representation, tar and feathers and other long forgotten fun stuff, I'll just point to my European brethren to www.payhip.com/bradleylaird which is EU friendly.

The new service, works for non-EU countries too, by the way.
