    Default Label-less Alvarez F5-Style

I was given this Alvarez back in the late 90's, when I still thought the sun revolved around guitars I just recently got it out of storage, after more than 10 years. It's in really good shape, and with a new set of strings on it, has a nice, dry chop. The fit & finish is decent.

I think it's an A-700 or A-800 from the mid-90's, but was wondering if anyone could weigh in. The label that's there makes it tough. Any guess on a ballpark value? Thanks in advance.

The Gitanes truss rod cover is interesting.

Looks like the A-800 to me.
    Just like this one:

    and this one:
    https://reverb.com/item/1304426-alva...with-hard-case

Looks like people are getting $400-$500.
Likely worth more in EU as there are fewer mandolins available.
