Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone on the
Mandolin Cafe!
I wish you a Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
Well, Hark, the herald angel, blew his bugle in my ear at five this morning and I'm on here to try to get Lo, the angel of the Lord to play me another little lullaby on his harp. I will wish one and all, A Merry Christmas indeed!
Now, back to the arms of Morpheus if I can get the image of JB in his Santa suit from the other thread out of my head!

Be true to your teeth, or they'll be false to you!
Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it. Everyone else, have a merry day whatever you do. We'll celebrate Christmas in the time honored Jewish tradition of Chinese food and a movie....
I spent part of Christmas eve yesterday sitting out on the back patio in shorts and a t-shirt basking in the sun, playing my mandolin and enjoying a beer. This is probably not out of the ordinary for many of you, but I live in usually cold upstate New York north of Albany. Yesterday set an all time high temp for December at 72deg. Global warming or no, it was wonderful.

Paul, did you mean 72 degrees? 27 seems a bit chilly for shorts and a t shirt.

Thanks Paul but, let's face it, we not complain if it was 27 either, I like two inches of snow from Christmas Eve through New Year's Day sadly, that does not happen often enough! We will end up with snow from New Year's Eve until the Fourth of July the way weather has been going this year!
At any rate it's not -10 with eighteen inches of snow, easier to grill the holiday feast!
That was last year!

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it and here's looking forward to a great new year with mandolins in great amounts!
Well, it's been in the 50s and 60s here in the wilds of Connecticut -- my husband said the peas in his garden that he planted in October are now in bloom. Certainly a warm late fall and early early winter!
I'm working today to give a break to those who celebrate Christmas (it's Chinese and a movie for me, too!) and it's a tossup whether to send a reporter to the beach or to talk with people who also are working today -- i'm thinking the beach, myself. It's a tough assignment, I know, but somebody's got to do it!

Yes...Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!
Our family is celebrating a wonderful Christmas. However, after reading this thread, I'm thinking of embracing cultural diversity this year with some Chinese food and a movie!
Deck us all with bowels of Harley....
Merry Christmas everyone!
Like T.D. Nydin said in post #11, that's what I heard from my relatives back home in upstate NY. In fact northern NY (Adirondack Mts) have been so warm, the lakes aren't even frozen over yet! It's unheard of in the history of NY State!
Merry Christmas everyone and a Healthy 2016.
