Heiden A5 in the Classifieds
Oh man...
I have 3 holy grail mandolins, and one of them is an A5 by Michael Heiden. (Specifically the one I played at Carters last month. It was my personal favorite among everything along with one specific "The Altman".
If I only had $6750... I suppose I could sell, trade, etc.
Have you all had the same experiences?
How many are out there? I wonder....

Probably most of us. When I bought my F5G I sold my Eastman, a Martin bass, and a Gibson SJ.

Hey Folks, the Heiden A in today's classifieds is mine and it's not the same instrument that was available through CVG, same year and materials but the serial numbers are 4 apart. Wonderful instrument!

It's hard to beat a good Heiden A5. They're A LOT of mando for the money!

I'm very picky when it comes to mandolins. I have only played one Heiden A-5 (Shaun's. I trust that you still have i!?). That remains on my top 5 list of best that I have ever played. Not exactly Loarish tone but completely amazing across the board. G0 for it!!!!
