I'm sending out a feeler to see if there are any fellow Five Burroughs residents who might be interested in an Old Time jam.

Afters year of Blues Rock playing, last year I started on Traditional American Music in the form of Blues, Bluegrass, Folk, and Jazz.

I sing and play guitar and mandolin. I live in Park Slope and sit on my stoop on 5th Ave and pick. I love Norman Blake, Django Reinhardt, Doc Watson, Clarence White, John Hurt, Mance Lipscomb, Big Bill Broonzy, and Bill Monroe.

For Bluegrass and Old time info, check out Banjo Ben's site. Also check out this mailing list on Yahoo: NYBGOT.

Thanks for the information. I can't get access to the mailing list, though.

For NYBGOT you just have to register. I think you have to have a yahoo registration as well.
