    Default Eastman Tuners

Has anyone ever changed the tuners on their Eastman Mandocello? I like the look of chrome and it comes with gold. Does anyone sell mandocello tuners?

They are just guitar tuners.... buy a similar set in chrome, and install them. No problem.

From the back of the headstock, these tuners appear to be in one strip with 4 connected. I'm guessing that's not a guitar configuration, which would just involve 3 on each side. I ideally don't want to drill new holes in the back of the headstock, so I wasn't sure if there was a matching set of 4 connected in chrome.

OH. My bad. The ones I've seen and played had individual tuners.

By the way, I just looked at the Eastman website.... Mandocellos are no longer listed.
    Did they quit making them?

Judging by the pictures those are just regular F style worm under mandolin tuners. Grover maybe? The top shaft is longer than the rest and that's why they are installed at a tilt instead of parallel to the head stock edge. I should think any standard spacing set of F style tuners would do. You may have to drill new screw holes.

Still have a price listing in their catalog, or at least I found one here.
