I had a chance to sit in for a tune with these guys at the Station Inn - what an amazing band!

Very well done indeed. I'd have to have a nerve re-fit after getting up there with those guys,

Fantastic picking! What a great opportunity to sit in with that stellar band - keep up the great work and let us know when your CD comes out - I'll be first in line!

Luke - thank you so much! I just had a CD come out! It's called "Just Whittlin' Around" and you can find it on iTunes, google play, CD baby, etc.

I hope Giri doesn't mind that I post a video of him from the IBMA last year. Quite a talented young fellow and he seems to be making the rounds with great bands if you follow him on youtube........

The kid's gonna be "YUUUGE"! So inspiring to hear great picking from such a young player.

It also seems that Northfield master models are the weapon of choice for the youngest mandolin players on the scene. I think the younger of the Zolla boys plays one too.

Very nice picking Giri! I sure wish I had started at that age instead of in college. Keep it up, but most importantly keep having fun with it. Don't be afraid to take a break for cars or girls or whatever too! (oh and school I guess!)
