With satelite TV and 150+ stations, it's not hard to tape 4-6 hours of music a week.... Soundstage, Austin City Limits, Unplugged, VH1 Storytellers, A&E's Live By Request, etc., plus whatever gets aired during PBS fundraising week drives, and shows on Bravo, Trio. And of course, there's the actual concert films, which may or may not receive TV airing.
A few of the best
The Band - The Last Waltz
Jimi Plays Berkeley
Led Zeppelin (2-dvd)
The Grateful Dead Movie
Tom Waits - Big Time
Woodstock
This is Spinal Tap
Richard Thompson - Across A Crowded Room
AC/DC - Live At Donnington
Allman Bros. - Live At The Beacon Theater
Pink Floyd - Live In Pompei
However, there's a continual release, or re-release, of new and vintage footage by, it seems, almost every band of note. #
