Default Anyone have a tab for Saltspring?

I've found the tabledit for the two breaks, but would like to see a simple breakdown of the melody. Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

You could check out Joe Walsh's course The Advancing Mandolinist over at pegheadnation.com. He covers Salt Spring in one of the lessons (both the basic melody and variations). Tab is provided. You can register month by month and once you are signed up you can take any of the lessons in any order.

The first break "is" the melody as Reischman wrote it. It doesn't break down any simpler than that, and the second break is where he gets fancy with it. I suppose if you wanted to simplify it, you could mimic the fiddle part at the end of the tune where it is accompanying the mandolin (somewhere around the 3:45 mark in this video).

But since this is an original Reischman tune, and not a variation of a simpler traditional fiddle tune, I'm not sure that what you're looking for exists. If you want it simpler, just start taking notes out until it sounds like you want.

John Reischman and the Jaybirds. One of the best mandolin players and best bands on the planet.
