Default Have a CT-55considering grabbing a couple Wegen's. which one?

    Hey all,

I currently rock a CT-55 which I love but am interested in grabbing a couple of Wegens to play and add to the collection. I don't have access to a place where I can try them so I was hoping for some information regarding sizing. Which of the Wegen's picks most closely resembles the CT-55. Big Triangle, beveled edges, and width. Thank you in advance!

    Best,

I definitely prefer the big triangle vs the smaller so i guess that is first priority. just fyi.

The TF140 is the Wegen equivalent.

Heres a link to a thread where I posted a pic of a couple of different wegen picks and a ct55.

A Wegen is well worth the investment. It has a nice bevel, and great tone. I often switch back between my BC and Wegen depending upon the piece.

+1 on the TF140. There is also a slightly smaller version offered by Michael, contact him to inquire.

The slightly smaller is the CF-140. Greg Boyd stocks them..... CF= Chad Fadely
    It's a great pick

I sold my ct-55 and went back to using just my wegen tf140. I seem to be able to draw a much richer tone from my mandolin.
