    Strange thing. I would have said that it was of the Vietnamese/Taiwanese family of stringed instruments but those tuners are not from there.

    If I were in hands-on-testing distance, I'd be all over it for $50. Jeez, ya spend more than that on "family night" at the movies, or on a ball game. Weird but cool.

    Me too. I'm sure that $50 is just their starting price. That would be a great conversation piece for the $40 you could probably get it for. Who knows what it sounds like, but it would be worth it to find out for that little.

    I agree with the probable Vietnamese origin. I bought a very similar one but with a LOT more bling. Sadly, it was not even worth the cheap price I paid.
