Default Brad new Italian Bowl Back Mandolin Help

I was just in Europe for a two week vacation and I bought a Alfredo Privitera bowl back mandolin for around two hundred to three hundred euros. I have been looking online for any info about the mandolin, and so far I can't find anything about. All I know about the mandolin is that is was made in Italy and that the strings that it came with where made in Italy. The only thing I could out online about the company was that Alfredo Prvitera was giving the factory by Buccheri Puglisi and what is mentioned in the article here (http://www.mandolinluthier.com/puglisi_family.htm). So basically, I just want to know if anyone has anymore detail about the mandolin. Does anyone else own one? What do you think about it?

Could you post some pictures? I'm not an expert, but there are some on here and they need photos to help you out.

Here's a YouTube Visit to Master Luthier Alfredo Privitera:

Is this your guy? This seller's page ID's a Privitera as being made in Catania, Sicily.

Google yields mentions of Alfredo Privitera in articles in Italian and Greek. If you find them, perhaps you can e-translate them.

You've already got this thread going in the "Information on Mandolins" forum.

    Don't need two of them!

I'm sorry about the two posts, I didn't realize there was a section deicated to mandolins. I would like to post pictures of my mandolin but I don't know how to do it on the mobile version.

A few conversations here have touched on Priviteras work. A search will turn them up.
In this thread, some clever fellow turned up a Google view of the Privitera shop.

I've tried for weeks to buy one of Privitera's mandolins, but only found them listed on Italian websites that don't offer shipping to the US. Wanted one for sentimental reasons, but feel thwarted at this point. Would be glad to visit Sicily or the mainland to get one, but retirement won't allow.

Have you spent much time with it? Playability?

Diego: according to the OP's profile he hasn't posted here in over 5 years. Most likely will not reply here. It doesn't hurt to try, of course. You could PM him but I have a feeling that he may not answer.
