Brentrup Prices Up?

I owned a Brentrup blacktop M21V for a few years - made from Italian spruce and Bosnian maple. Mr. Brentrup told me the one I had was the prototype for a number of those he built in the early 2000s.
Alas, I got hooked on scrolls and traded it away. Wish I had it back again - it was a fine mandolin.

If you are looking for a Brentrup F5 M23V in perfect condition and reasonable priced, you will find one at "New Acoustic Gallery", a great shop in Germany.
I tried it out last summer, and it sounded awesome. Still on their website.
