Default Musicians’ Union Publish New Airline Cabin Policy Rating System

I saw this link mentioned on thesession.org and thought it might interest air travelers here. No idea how valid the rating system is, or how large the survey sample; just passing it along:

"The International Federation of Musicians has published a new rating system - based on how accommodating airlines' cabin policies are for musicians"

Default Re: Musicians’ Union Publish New Airline Cabin Policy Rating Syst

I received a reply from the UK Musician's Union yesterday which i've only just read, thanking me for signing their petition regarding
airlines allowing instruments to be carried on board. They are working along with the ''International Federation Of Musicians'' to try to get some sort of meaningful ruling on the problem :- https://www.fim-musicians.org/

A rating system is fine, but the underlying problems are still there. I'd urge everybody to sign any petition regarding this problem.
That's the only way that musicians can register their disapproval of the current hit & miss policies employed by the airlines,

    Lebeda F-5 "Special".
    Stelling Bellflower BANJO
    Tokai - 'Tele-alike'.
    Ellis DeLuxe "A" style.
