    Cool 40s Gibson F-5.

    Is this one of the more rare '16th fret' examples? Check out the side view closeup.

    I don't think it will. These have come way down, and this one has some issues, and no case, and no return policy. But we shall see!

    Where the 16th fret is closest to the white cross bar, although this one, when viewed from the front is asymmetrical, only appearing like this on the bass side. I haven't seen (a photo of) one like this - 'stepped', for want of a better word. Closer to the 15th fret on the treble side.
    I'm no expert, just a lover/appreciator (mostly) from afar. Maybe some of the mavens will chime in here..

    I don't understand the 16th fret issue either but isn't this the ultra-rare "two-hole tailpiece" version?
