Last night i finished off my second upcycled mandolin:
Upcycled from the guitar in the first photograph, it has a repaired solid spruce top, solid rosewood back and sides and, what i perceive to be, an ovankol fretboard. Mahogany neck and half rosewood, half mahogany bridge. The only part not made from the original guitar was the mahogany half of the bridge, and the hardware (incl. bone nut and saddle)
