    A careful reading indicates that the "gondolas" are genuine (handcrafted in Venice?) but it remains to be verified whether or not the Gondoliers themselves are genuine --even though the small text at the bottom makes the claim! Today, there are not very many Gondoliers left who can execute a decent tremolo~~

    Especially with no pick.

    Left hand position too looks a bit dubious.
