Think the 40% offer expired but I'd try it anyway. Sometimes they leave those on and don't turn off the offer in their software. Right now the 30% offer noted on the Classifieds and home page are good for both books and downloads. If you're looking for some Don Stiernberg, Aaron Weinstein, Ted Eschliman and many others that have book on Mel Bay, you also get the added benefit that those authors are forum members and will likely answer questions. Hard to beat that combination.
