Here's about the only Christmas gift I can give. It's a short beginner video lesson of the Christmas Waltz for tenor guitar or banjo tuned CGDA.
Hope some of you may enjoy working on it anyway.

Great video David, I do wish one thing however. I'd like to hear it at performance speed. Often the fluid movements and dotted notes are blurred in slow presentations. It is a dandy and something to work on.
Thanks - Dion

Good Morning Dion, and thank you. You're right, I didn't think of playing it at speed, sorry about that. For anyone interested, the first video is just the notes and the chords. I played it to time in this video. Its in 3/4 time, so if you tap your foot to it, you can phrase and time the notes anyway you hear the song in your head, as you may sing it. You can lag or lead any notes you want, as long as you keep the 3/4 timing underneath.

Thanks David, that was great! I can hear where the inflections are and how they work. Now ... all I need is the time to work it out on one of my tenors. 'Tis the season and all that.
Thanks for the follow up.
