    Plus one for Curt Mangan, thanks MandoBart,

    while they are PB round wound, I use them pretty much exclusively (on all my mandos, dolas, octaves and mandocellos), they do offer a Monel coated set, but not in mandola that I know of.
    I did have that length problem with the GHS mandola set, the Mangan's are plenty long enough.

    I'm thinking of trying flatwounds on my Trillium. I've heard flatwounds have more tension than phosphor bronze round wounds. How much do you account for this when making a new set?
