    Default Big Ivy Tenor

Has anyone ever played a Big Ivy instrument? They're apparently made by John Maddocks in the Boone, North Carolina, area. One of his 2015 tenor guitars just showed up with Kevin Douglas at MandoMutt:

It features bearclaw Sitka spruce over walnut, and at $750, seems like great value for an independently built instrument in seemingly mint condition. Plus, with a 21-1/4" scale, it mighty be sufficiently different from my 23" Newton to justify a second for keeping in CGDA!

That's pretty tenor. I'd love to hear it.
