    I agree with what some of the others are saying -- as long as nothing is broken, it is not a problem. Mostly just a visual thing. In fact, that's why there are two adjustment wheels -- to compensate and allow it to play well.

    From Jeff - "...it is not a problem." Apart from the fact that it simply shouldn't be like that. I agree with the ''if you like it keep it'' sentiments,but the mandolin is IMHO,faulty & should be returned - but that's a decision for the owner,a tough one at that if the mandolin sounds so good,
