Default NMC - Fashioning a violin bow from scratch

Came across this video of Bill Watson fashioning a violin bow from scratch. Interesting, meticulous work.

Thanks for that. Making violin and cello bows and oboe/bassoon reeds is the realm of fabricating magic, to me. Well, my own violin and cello bows aren't really magical.

just as background, he's been doing luthier work since starting at age 14 at Hill's in London, and his bows are in the US$9k range: http://www.benningviolins.com/Fine-V...lin-bow-1.html
