    I went and heard these guys play a couple of years ago at a small venue near my home. It was kind of spur of the moment not having heard of Julian at the time. It was one of the better couple hours that I have spent. They are really amazing.

    Great conversation. Love what they say about listening. It's funny to hear Lage say oh you don't have to understand everything about every mode etc., you just have the ability to spontaneously play something different than what others are playing but also make it complementary. I mean, yes, but easier said than done!

    I saw them play recently in Chicago, and it was spectacular. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves hearing great players having an immense amount of fun with each other.

    I've got tickets for the Punch Brothers in August, and Julian's on the bill, too. Can't wait!
