    Default RIP Greg Allman

Just heard the news, and I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. His music will always be up there among the list of my favorites.

As a man, Greg was like most of us, filled with flaws that he tried to overcome.

As a musician, he was a great one. Such a soulful voice, too many great songs to list, but Melissa is among my top favorites, if I had to pick.

A quarter tone flat and a half a beat behind.

Who said that gettin' old was fun? Utter bullsh*t. Gregg has gone. Another one of my music heroes. Life is a little emptier. Gregg's work was always there, always good, always inspiring and another piece in the jigsaw of life. Vale Gregg. Travel well Brother...you will be sadly missed.
