Beautiful.

Sweet! What type of filter was this?
Very nice, looks like an antique or sepia kind of filter.

Nicely done ... in my days of printing there was a Kodak paper named portralure that gave this effect....R/

I like messing around in Photoshop especially fitting mandolins in various locations.

What is good Phaedrus? and what is not good?, need we ask anyone to tell us these things?
Great photo. I like the Instagram filters, but I've gotten to where I use the ones that come standard on my iPhone more than anything these days, especially for black and white stuff.

Hello Demetrius, that is the headstock of my Paul Shippey A5. Paul is a luthier in Somerset in England. I had the mandolin made for my fiftieth birthday. Paul was a fantastic guy to deal with, his website can be found here.
Here's one I whipped up that keeps to the peghead theme. I used a posterizing filter on it to make it cartoonish.

Here's a close-up of the beautiful headstock of Pomeroy #8, by Don Paine of Glenwood Springs, CO. It shows a hummingbird hovering over two flowers, in mother-of-pearl, abalone, and burl. Pretty hard to top this, in my jaded opinion! (In later Pomeroys, the headstock carried the Pomeroy logo, but in his earlier models, Don used the space for pure art. I wish more makers would do that.)
