These sessions will be aimed at increasing our mastery and enjoyment of the mandolin and related instruments including the mandola, guitar, mandocello and bass. We will discuss developing better technique and will be looking at a variety of music designed with the mandolin instruments in mind.

Our first summer session will be held on Tuesday June 6th. Please write either Taka Kanaya or Mark Davis if you plan to attend.

Aspiring musicians of every type and caliber are invited. Instruments, music and hand-outs will be provided. Participants should have the ability to read simple notated music. The sessions are free and open to the public. The session will be followed by a get-together at Brown Graduate Student Bar (near the lounge).

Will Josh Bell be teaching a course in Mandocello? I'd be interested in attending for that!
