Default Strings for my Stromberg Voisinet Tenor - 20's vintage

Just acquired a nice Stromberg Voisinet Tenor (known as Kay Kraft later on). 23" scale. I put Octave mandolin strings on it (D'Addario EJ80 mediums) that I like very much so far. However, the tailpiece allows me to use either loop or ball ends. It has 5 hooks and you can put the balls in the four spaces between, so I can use tenor guitar strings. This is a rather lightly built instrument. What strings should I use for CGDA?

Congrats on your new guitar. I'd love to see a pic if you have one.

Well J80s are not really light string tension as the middle strings are .22 & .32. the total string tension will be around 90lb.
    For CGDA ... .9 .14 .20w .32w about 78lb total tension.
    For GDAE ... .12 .18w .30w .46w will give a similar tension.

Thank you Fox. The instrument seems to be fine with the J80's, but would probably be best to go lighter with the middle strings. She is an old girl after all. Being able to use both loop and ball ends is an advantage I suppose.

Been thinking of a name for her. Someone stenciled the Martin logo on the headstock. Not sure if I want to remove it or not. It actually looks kind of cool. I may call her Martina.

Ball ends are great because you can just buy single Guitar strings in ant size you choose.
    Do you have any pictures....?

I can buy single loop end strings at Fiddlers Green here in Austin. They work pretty well. I did as recommended above, replacing the middle strings with a lighter gauge and they work great. Tone and volume on the S-V is wonderful all the way up the neck and I am having fun with it. Here are a couple of photos (posted elsewhere as well). I'm still looking for a hard case. It fits perfectly in a baritone uke gig-bag.
