Default Grey Fox Mandolin Cafe Meet-Up

    Hey everybody,

'Tis the season! Is anybody up for a Mandolin Cafe meet-and-greet this year at the Grey Fox Festival? I will be there and will be looking forward to seeing the usual suspects!

I think in previous years we have had success meeting up on Saturday mid-morning. Perhaps Saturday 10:00 am at the Grass Roots tent (where they do the workshops, I think)?

I'll keep my eye on this thread over the next week.

Let me know if I'm making a duplicate post. I didn't see any others.

Hey Amanda, I'm sure Fred will chime in as he usually sets this up. I hope to be there. I may only be camping 1 or 2 nights if lucky as I have an old, blind girl who's time is very close running out.
Its difficult to get and trust somebody to stay overnight with a needy dog.
Not being in pain, I just want to give her the chance to go peacefully.

Hey Amanda, thanks for taking the lead! I asked on the GF FB page, but got no response. I'm in, and would love to see some old friends. I missed the past couple years, and am really looking forward to being back. Now, if we could only get Sam Bush and Tim O to come back soon...

I'll be there as well -- I only wander up the hill to grey fox on saturday (I'm in town the rest of the week), so suggesting Saturday is perfect. does this include a mandolin tasting or just a meet-and-greet?

Absolutely bring mandolins for some tasting! Often a great opportunity to see some very nice instruments.

There is some probability as of yesterday that I won't make the festival, which would be tragedy. Hoping it works out.

just checking in -- for anybody with an internet connection who's at greyfox. sorry about the rain -- i hear it's pretty muddy up there ... I'm working on the assumption that there might be some mandolins around the grass roots tent about 10... but you know what they say about assume. If anybody knows for sure -- yeah or nay -- post an update, please.
